Thin Coating – Perfect Protection
Surfaces to be treated with tutoProm® must be clean and dry and free of grease. The protective coating can be applied by paint roller, or with a soft cloth or spray can. A cloth is recommended for small areas and a roller should only be used for matt surfaces.
A coating thickness of around ten micrometers will provide optimum protection. This requires no more than ten to fifteen milliliters of tutoProm® per square meter. Outdoors, the coating dries within at least one hour and cures completely after seven days. The curing process accellerates at higher temperatures. It is completed in one to two hours at 130°C.
The coating should only be applied out of doors or in well-ventilated rooms, and well away from any potential fire sources. Optimum working conditions are attained at temperatures within the range of 5 to 30°C, without direct sunshine or rain. We recommend the use of protective clothing (gloves, goggles, breathing mask).
tutoProm® must not be mixed with any other fluids. Liquid tutoProm® should be stored in a cool, dry place, well away from any potential sources of fire. It will keep for six months if stored in its original packaging.
