September 12, 2011 – AZ Electronic Materials has been recognised by Nanium S.A., a global supplier of wafer-level packaging (WLP) services for the semiconductor industry, as a Preferred Supplier. The Preferred Supplier designation is Nanium’s highest supplier quality and performance ranking, and represents suppliers that fulfill or exceed all requirements concerning supply performance, cost and quality, and management commitment. Preferred Suppliers are deemed as strategic supply partners.

The Nanium supplier assessment program reviewed AZ’s performance as an electronic materials supplier in five categories: Purchasing, Quality, Logistics, Technology, and Management Profile.
